teen beat: slightly x-rated

it's rare that you go to a movie about which you know nothing prior to sitting in your seat. i recently went to see shortbus, the new John Cameron Mitchell (writer/director of hedwig and the angry inch) film which, "explores the lives of several emotionally challenged characters as they navigate the comic and tragic intersections between love and sex in and around a modern-day underground salon." not only are there lots of cute and naked humans in the movie, but it starts with three of the most hilarious "money shots" i've ever seen. also, the soundtrack totally rules and i highly recommend that you go see it with someone you can make out with afterwards. an hour and 40 minutes of orgasm quests might slightly bum you out if you go with your cousin or boss or someone like that.
